Heat Pump Installation in Home Office

We recently completed the installation of an air source heat pump heating system that provides cooling  in a newly-built home office. The structure was built using traditional techniques, including solid wood beams, and the structure was also clad in wood effect timber.

Heat Pump Solutions fitted a Daikin refrigerant split 6kw kW heat pump and which provides hot water for heating. We installed a highly efficient under-floor heating system which keeps the building at a comfortable temperature all year round.

Air source heat pumps are a fantastic option for home office buildings. They require mininal maintenance and are very efficient, reducing the cost of keeping your office warm all year round.

Air Source Heating System for Retirement Home

Another project involved the design and installation of an air source heat pump heating system into a small home, built for an elderly relative of the home owner.

Heat Pump Solutions fitted an ecodan 6kW R290 heat pump and which provides hot water for heating. We installed the outdoor unit as far away from the property as possible, all pipework was underground, the controls are operated via the MELcloud app the owner aged 94 years young, found it simple and if anything ever happened a txt or message would be sent to whomever in the family to assist should it be required.

When correctly configured, air source heat pumps are 'set and forget', making them a great option for older people who don't want to have to remember to manage their heating requirements throughout the day.

Heat Pump Installation in Traditional Wiltshire Cottage

This project involved the design and installation of an air source heat pump heating and hot water system into a traditional stone-built property.

Heat Pump Solutions fitted a samsung G7 R290 - 12kW heat pump and which provides hot water for heating as well as being used to keep the hot water immersion tank topped up. 

We installed a highly efficient heating system which keeps the building at a comfortable temperature all year round, larger radiators K2 type from stelrad along with there plans to invest into UFH late 2025, using the extra zone on the cylinder .

Correctly installed and appropriately designed, air source heat pumps are a fantastic way of breathing new life into older properties. Provided that a sufficiently powerful heat pump is installed there's no reason why an air source heat pump can't be used to heat a larger or older property. This project proves it!
